Yes we are! We love our four-legged friends, but we ask that they are polite to other guests – both four or two-legged – and under control at all times.
Well behaved children are very welcome for our Street Food, although regrettably we do not have any high chairs available. Please ensure your child is supervised at all times.
Getting Here
Access is by boat, bike or foot only – there is no direct car access to the Lodge itself.
We are a 10-minute stroll across Hambleden Weir from Mill End Car Park, or a 45-minute walk along the River Thames from Henley Bridge.
Mill End Car Park is the recommended option. What Three Words: //envelope.someone.dumplings
Please do not park at the Mill, Hambleden Marina, or the Flowerpot Hotel Pub – parking there is strictly for residents only.
Yes! If arriving by boat, please do not moor on the lock strip directly in front of the Lodge.
River Taxis can also be booked in partnership with Hobbs of Henley on Friday and Saturday evenings in conjunction with your Supper Club ticket. For groups of 8 or more, email us at contactus@thelockdownlodge.co.uk.
Limited parking can be pre-arranged for disabled guests attending the Supper Club. Please contact us ahead of your booking.

Yes – all takeaway food and drinks are served in fully compostable containers, and we are looking at ways we can become ‘greener’ wherever possible. We are also committed to sourcing produce as sustainably as possible, working with small and local businesses wherever possible.
Whilst we do operate out of a small kitchen, we aim to cater to dietary requirements wherever possible. We have vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free options available. Please speak to the team when you order!

Yes! We welcome small outdoor weddings, birthdays and celebrations of all kinds. Please contact Minna at bookings@thelockdownlodge.co.uk to enquire.
