Welcome to The Lockdown Lodge, a pop up restaurant running for three weeks this Summer by Hambleden Lock just outside of Henley-on-Thames. The perfect place to grab a coffee, a cool drink with friends, a casual bite to eat 7 days a week or, on Thursday - Sunday, enjoy a 3-course tasting menu feast using locally sourced fresh produce.
The Lockdown Lodge was started by Minna Hughes, after her gap year travelling was
unfortunately cancelled. Not one to sit around and do nothing, and inspired by her Grandpa's
motto of "there's no such word as can't", The Lockdown Lodge was born! We're offering
takeaway food and drink as well as a fine-dining experience.
Why not take a boat trip along the famous Henley Regatta course to get to us?
Hobbs of Henley will be running a river taxi between Hobbs of Henley and the Lockdown Lodge.
River taxis can be booked in advance for the evenings. Taxis depart from Hobbs at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm to arrive at the Lockdown Lodge 30 minutes later. These taxis will then return to Hobbs at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.
Access is by boat, bike or foot. Please do not moor on the lock strip infront of the Lodge.
Some parking can be arranged for the supper club.
We would recommend parking in the Mill End car park (approx half a mile) or parking in Henley (approx 2.5 miles) and taking a stroll up the river.
Please do not park at the Mill or Hambleden Marina as parking is strictly for residents only
There are several great walking routes of varying length and difficulty around us.
